On Semi-Permanent Leave of Absence

I've been getting a lot of mounts

Natalie wishes to apologize to the readers of this blog - I do plan on getting to Zafaria, but I have one more quest to complete... I have to go back into Nastrond because, like an idiot on crack, I forgot to get the Runestone just before the final boss so I can't complete the runestone quest for Wintertusk until I get through that dungeon AGAIN, and those who played through Nastrond know how long that piece of icy soft-serve is. X(

Unfortunately, I haven't found any group needing some help through the dungeon, so if worse comes to worst, I'll just have Christina join up and help get through the first five battles so that Nat can read the runestone in the battle with the four brainwashed warriors. *sigh*

There's also the quest to get the Level 55 spell but I won't do that until I buy more Crowns as I am paranoid about the boss I have to fight solo. I have been farming Lord Nightshade as I want to farm gear for my future Rookie PVP character.

EDIT: I got some pets to Ancient due to the current double Pet EXP event for members(another reason why you should be a member) and after hatching the baby of my Proper Penguin to Christina's Enchanted Armament, I got...

THIS. Yep, basically the holy grail of healing pet talents! This is definitely going to be hanky-pankying with all the pets on this account so I can get some these talents on my future pets. :>D

Fine, I'll get back to Wizard101, since I only have a month of time. :(

All right, you girls, I'll get back to your questing. I need to clean out Nat's quest log of all the Wintertusk and Celestia quests anyways. *grumbles* And I was almost finished with Chapter 7.

(J/K! That was inspired by a video from chuggaaconroy, the god of Nintendo Let's Plays. ;D)

But as you can see, this week there was KI's annual Pack-a-Palooza, and that means all card packs are 50% off, so I burned half of the 10,000 Crowns I redeemed on Gamestop's $20 card to get a bunch of packs, including the return of the Harrowing Nightmare Pack... and guess what?

PERMA-WISP WINGS!!!! And not just any, the PERFECT color for Naoto-chan!!! ^_^

Yep, I got a permanent Midnight Blue HarroWings(dodges rotten tomatoes), which is one of my favorite feature mounts. I love the Wings mount as you can carry your weapon while 'mounted'. The Wings mounts are my favorite type of mount, as you can see. The Polaris Express is now parked indefinitely until next Christmas. ;)

She was also lucky and got three bow weapons(I fed one to her pet) AND a musical instrument weapon, a mandolin! That's awesome and I might make that her transmog for life. I got two Darkfire Bows so she's got one for her Boss Deck in case she pulls her Bone Dragon, use the Bow's Detonate spell to blow up the poison in the foe's face. ^_^

Yes, she got Bone Dragon at long last, at Level 67. I was scared of the boss I had to fight. Like all the Level 58 spell bosses, he cheats with a super-Hex every time you blade, shield or trap. Took me three tries to get rid of that evil thing.

She also got Dr. Von's Monster, but I had Crowns to throw around. I don't like Henchmen but having to truly solo these bosses, both of them death-elemental, would be a disaster. (She did manage to go truly solo on the Level 58 boss as I had flooded her deck with Death Shields, but the Hoarder was another story since he had a Balance Golem.) Now the Boss Deck looks updated! ;)


So for this update I cleaned up a lot of side-quests, including some bosses. I hate Winterbranch and his unfair Efreet. :(

I also did two more Rattlebones Master Duels and got a Mote of Wisdom. (I'd weep for never getting the Mote of Transport, but I doubt I'll ever get rid of these beautiful wings that I got from RNG. She'll be 'winging' it up to the end of her career. *rim shot and more stinky tomatoes*)

 

And she dumped a Tanglewood Terror dungeon and ran it with a couple of 'friends', and all she got for the bad plant puns were some odd boots and a mushroom hat. ;p

Next update, which should happen in a couple of days should I not get too into grinding out the ultimate weapons for Max and Monica(girls sharpen their fingernails) EEP OKAY I DON'T MEAN THAT!!! I should be able to get Nat to Zafaria. (Actually I'm letting Blaze and Blue ferment and pop out a bunch of videos for their co-op walkthrough as they just got to Zafaria as well. I am so not looking forward to grinding out reagents for the infamous Spirit Caller Drums quest but my luck with the Loremaster is in the gutter so chances are Nat will have to farm Amber for Deer Knight. Ciao!)
