Warning: THIS IS A LONG UPDATE.
Basically, it started with completing the third Special Area, Zigazag, since Nat was now Level 60+.
WARNING: This place is NO JOKE. Only Darkmoor can claim to be much worse. :(
F*** YOU, KUS. X(
At least we got a nice amulet that will help boost Nat's damage.
I also exchanged a Wooden Key my Sorcerer had for a Stone Key.
I HATE THIS JERK. Mol'ahk spams Leviathan and Stormzilla almost every turn, which means you lose your blades and take lots of Storm damage. PACK STORM SHIELDS. I lost the battle - Christina lost all of her HP because of those damn Leviathans and so did Natalie. :(
Oh screw you, you stupid Kroks. X(
Obviously Ambrose was here. :p
Hey, are you guys invisible?
Oh there you are.
Die. (She refused to die and her Judgement cheat was so bad I had to forfeit the battle and come back with Unbalance up the wazoo.)
And Natalie was now Level 64.
Yep, that drained all of my potions. :(
The bad news: Moh'alk has a pet I want to use for my future Storm Wizard. ;_;
Completely forgot about this badge. Don't have to worry about it anymore. ;)
At least I finally got the material to craft the Wintertusk robe to boost Nat to 20% resist.
Then I started work on the Housing badges, starting with Winterbane Hall. You may have recalled Sierra Fairyfriend - my sister gave me the game card that gives you Winterbane Hall's dungeon, but I had to use a n00b trash wizard as Nat was too high level now. With Christina, the enemies were now Rank 10, which is too dangerous. Luckily I had a trash Level 12 Thau on Christina's account. :)
And for some reason, I got a Snow Serpent pet from Axebearer the dragon. No Coldfire, though.
Whatever, I am just here for the badges.
Next up, time to crack open that Krokopatra duel I had gotten from Jade Oni long ago. I heard it was the easiest of the Rematches. And... it is... but...
Nat: "Braaaains..."
Sierra: "Ah, zombie!" *zaps her*
KROKOPATRA SPAMS BEGUILE and she used it on Nat JUST as Sierra was going in for the stupid kill. X( I was lucky Nat had some resist or she would have died and that battle would have been lost for her, which would suck.
Needless to say, when I farm Krokopatra Master Duels to get that stupid badge for killing her 10 times, I'm packing nothing but Strangles on Nat and having her spam that on the slut. X(
Needless, poor Nat needed to down another potion and she didn't get a Mote of Transport, just a crappy robe and a staff which is now just decoration because she's not the right school.
So it was time to continue questing and finish up Wintertusk. Also, for some reason, Lincoln and Dworgyn were demanding attention for spell quests.
Another level up. I did some side-quests before feeding the ice dragon some tooth-pulling meds.
Time for Nastrond and the end of Wintertusk - I teamed up with a Pyro and Diviner, who kicked all kinds of A. ^_^
Oh go to Bird Hell, you stupid ravens. :(
Although I did cast Feint on the wrong target a few times, we eventually beat the Sons of Ymir.
Ymir yawns and goes back to sleep, I grab the last Trogg, and we head out. Peace.
Time to finish up Celestia.
Oh damn it. Death Ninja Pigs start showing up more often.
So I take a break and harvest more Couch Potatoes and now Nat's at Level 8 in Gardening. Gotta love those member benefits. ^_^
NOTE ON THOSE FARMING FOR ONE-SHOT DUELS: You cannot earn Master Duels if you are higher than Level 40, you'll only get the Nintendo Hard Exalted Duels, so I had to pull out my doomed to be deleted Sorcerer and had him farm Rattlebones to get the duel items.
There we go - nine more Rattlebones Master Duels to get that Rattlebones badge... which I'll do later.
I had some full energy and was close to leveling so I wasted it on pet-training... and now my Sword and Shield are condemned to guard duty in the wine cellar. I don't know how this talent showed up, but I think it was from Christina's pet's father who was a Starfish. :(
I did not know that pets can inherit their grandfather's talents!
I did Waterworks a second time and not only got my boots, completing Nat's set for a long time, but also the Ninja Pig boots! I'll use it in my energy set. ;)
Nat has been getting criticals thanks to her Rockin' Roller, who now has a +10% Critical Rate. :)
He's also a good healing pet and no selfish talents. I might use him to get Spell-Proof and Spell-Defy.
Natalie sure needed that resist boost as I decided it was time to check out the Level 58 Spell Quest as she was almost Level 68. I was wembling. :(
I didn't get any pics of the battle, which I fled a couple of times to get good RNG, but it was a tough battle. However, Nat did it without henchmen, which is good as she has only 6 crowns to her name. I'll have to use my allowance money to buy a game card on e-receipt so she can get some Crowns. :(
Anyways, Nat is now the happy owner of a Bone Dragon spell which is pretty useless as it's DoT.
And Natalie meets Morgie for the first time, cheers!
Love KI's work on the new cinematic zooms in the Trial of Spheres. (Yes, I skipped over the Science Center and Crustacean Empire. Trust me, you didn't miss anything.)
We got some help in Scarlett Hex (another Death Wizard)...
And another Sorcerer named (something) Moonleaf. Sorry I didn't check your first name! :(
Or we could just Critical and kill you in one shot!
Or not - Christina for the win!
Nat: "Yeah, whatever."
Nat: "Oh come on, Merle..."
Nat: "I have stuff to do!" :p
And that wraps up the first world of Arc 2. It was pretty uneventful. Zafaria is my favorite world, hopefully it'll be fun! Ciao! (Nat is almost Level 68.)
