Yeah, if you can tell, I've slacked off majorly on Wizard101 because I have been busy with PS games, but I can tell you this much...
This is the EARLIEST I have ever gotten a Wizard to Grandmaster! Yep, Natalie hit the precious 50th Level just after completing the Drake Hatchery the first time.
Of course, there was a glitch in the final Diego tutorial - I actually defeated the clockwork golem with the Helephant because of my Sky Iron Hasta boosting my damage and I had to quit the game to get out of the arena, so I had to do the whole thing again while stripped naked(figuratively, mind you!), but I got through it. KI, please take note!
But I guess I can give you a brief summary of Nat's travels. She made it through the boring Tower Archives...
And the Plaza of Conquests.
I also splurged on the new Witch's Hoard pack and actually got the Death Polaris spell!!!!
...
Which is USELESS to Nat because she is five worlds away from gaining Shadow Pips. ;_;
She did get some nice Polaris theme music which plays in the outer part of her house, as well as a nice decorative painting for her bedroom.
Last night I farmed Loremaster several times with various groups, some having the awesome new Polaris spells. I should really spend a week in a sickie to get Christina to the Shadow Palace, she's still stuck in Sardonyx. Nested Fury would be an AWESOME area of attack spell - sure, it's Spectral Blast so she wouldn't get any boosts from her school, but it's OOOOOPPPPP. ^_^
Then tonight I took on the Grand Chasm.
And let Christina use that treasure card since it's useless... Totally forgot that power pips don't work with this raven gal since Christina is not Death. :p Also, it failed to kill even with feints. I'm going to have to put the Prisms back in for Nat to use. :(
After that, Nat put Sylvia Drake to rest...
Then got enrolled in the Dragonspyre Academy.
She breezed through all the tests since Christina's Balance Boss Deck has Potent Feints, and now that Nat has Strong, her Wraiths can pack a punch! Still no Scarecrow...
But that changed when we finally reached the Labyrinth... and Nat fell in love with Timor and his many many Winnow spells which were cheap and allowed her fishing to be useful since it got rid of the trash fish and would help her finish her collection. ^_^
Finally got the Scarecrow spell - seems the Cistern only needs one battle now, which is a sigh of relief for Nat as she was expecting a three floor dungeon. ;) She had to go back to the Tree of Life, though, and fight Death Oni again to get the Seed of Death. *sigh*
That's a lot of damage! |
But we finally got our area attack. Let's test it out!
Nice!
Unfortunately, Taketsu the Masterless wasn't impressed and everyone proceeded to gang-bang Nat, one shotting her with Triton and then again with Stormzilla. Well, that was a waste of a Wooden Key and 50 Crowns. Christina is ticked. X(
MORALE OF THE STORY: Don't go teasing the Skeleton Key Bosses!
I spent the rest of the session farming Loremaster some more. At least I'd get a good party there.
