Journal Entry #6: How Nat Got Her Groove Back

So we got through 3/4 of Marleybone, which I feel is a great accomplishment. :)

Nat got a nice snow globe that makes it snow for her free holiday gift. :)

Unfortunately, Clancy banned poor Nat from the museum until she got rid of her hunchback pet. Seems museums and cathedrals are natural breeding grounds for the gits. :(

In frustration, Nat fished up a storm and finally hit Level 5, buying two Rank 2 lures. Sadly, I had to quit for the day because this moron kept begging to help me and teleporting to me. :(

Mein goht! How can that thing FIT on there!?!? O_O

Need cat-tails? Come here, this place is loaded. :p

Nat hits Level 34 at long last.

The Deathfrog is still in effect and will be so until Level 48. It's a loooong slog. :(

Nat got pulled into this battle for no reason - she wasn't even in the gazebo!!!

Boss #1 - D&D. :p

Oh now, we're busting out the Rank 3 spells are we? (Technically we were there with the Field Guards with Storm Shark, but Rank 3 is more consistent now - enemies start buffing more often.)

Lovely Power Nova screenshot. I'm gonna frame it and put it on my wall. ^_^

Seriously, HOW CAN THAT THING FIT?!?!?

Nat then recalled that she had a spell quest to do. The goal: Fight this guy NINE TIMES.

Lucky for us, he only has 1000 HP, but I forgot to pack the Death Prisms in the first fight. Vampire still one shotted him with help from Feint and TC Monstrous.

Worst. minion. ever. :( And to add insult to injury, I forgot that I had space in my deck so the game shoved three of these boogers in there. X(

Nat hit Level 35 after a few side-quests and got a new life spell which she used for a while.

Marleybone has a lot more zooms in it.

Nat offends this 'boss' by getting a side-quest advanced while Christina sets up. XD

Nat respects her fellow gumshoes. ;)

So we go through the Ironworks in record time...

BUT FOR SOME FREAKING REASON the game didn't count it and I had to take her through the whole dungeon AGAIN - the book is in the same room as the final boss. Luckily, the stray cat WAS found so I didn't have to get it again. Thanks to Connor Frostcaller and his Theurgist friend Vanessa for getting Nat through a second time.

(Also, while fighting those Frog Sweepers for a side-quest, her Vampire fizzled THRICE. ;_;)

At least Nat's getting stronger spell jewels. Now if only we can get a Feint jewel...

One of the rare times that we see a Critical hit, thanks to the new crit/block ratio edit.

At least this part is more EPIC. KI outdid themselves in this world. ;)

Christina doesn't care a dingo's kidney about this Agony Wraith. ;p

I decided to put the sidequests on hold until we defeated Meowiarty so next up we seek out Jak and Daxter... er, I mean Jacques the Scratcher. (Sorry, got Jak on the brain. I plan on tackling the Jak collection sometime in the future.) And poor Steeg sues for brain injury. I need to get a Mote of Transport so I can craft one of the cool new cloud mounts. This narwhal is too dangerous to use. :(

Nat helps the police with this mysterious case. If only the real Jack the Ripper had been as easy to locate and capture. :p (They also added a zoom cutscene in the beginning of Knight's Court.)

Uh nope, sorry, not happening. Natalie spammed a Skeletal Pirate TC on you to prove a point. ;p

And having hit Level 36 a short while ago, I decided to stop my playing there for the night. I plan on tackling Tomb of the Beguiler for Mander Savior's title once I defeat Meowiarty so I can get that out of the way, since I triggered Kensington Park.

I also bought a Baddle of the Bands housing gauntlet so I might try that once I clear Barkingham so I can have hopefully get nice gear that will carry me to Celestia. Ciao for now!
